We are so excited to share with you our first sketch challenge with this new term of DT's! And what is even more fun this time around is we have a sketch challenge contest for our fans with a chance to win a 1st place prize, 2nd place prize and a few more prizes from our DT's blog pages! ~ Dragon Fly Dreams w/Christine ~

Hi everyone!

I wanted to share a card I made for a friend...her mom passed unexpectedly a year ago Sunday, and every time she sees dragon flies, it's a reminder of her. Inside I will inscribe "Peace and Comfort To You". 

I embossed the white cardstock with the Sizzix embossing folder, sprayed my Tattered Angels glimmer mist, inked the embossed flowers and edges with turquoise ink, cut out the dragon fly on the cricut using “lyrical letters” cartridge, glittered the edges of the dragon fly with Studio G glitter glue and added a dash of bling on the body for the finishing touch.  ;)

DT Jessie's Father's day card

Happy Wednesday!

This is Jessie! If it's Wednesday then that means  it is my day to post for Crafting Family.

I wanted to make a Father's day card. I have to make more but I love how this turned out.

 

The green paper is cardstock compliments of Crafting Family by DCWV, I embossed it with my dots embossing folder.  The shirt is cut out of American Crafts paper, Junior Collection, Goal paper, both sides. Click here to order it from the CF Ebay site. I used pop dots to pop up the collar of the shirt.  The sentiment is from K Andrew Designs,Guy Talk set.  I punched it out with a scallop die. I used some eyelets and twine to jazz it up.

Hello Crafting Family! Tiffany here with my weekly Tuesday post. Today I had pattern paper and cardstock from American Crafts to get me started on my layout:

If you're paying close attention, you'll notice that last week I used the lovely yellow pindot paper from American Crafts on my layout, I had cut a jumbo circle from the center of the page. This week I pulled out the scrap, added a scallop punch, and the base of my page was started! Not much left of the yellow pindot, but maybe I could punch a flower or 2 for a future page. I really love to S-T-R-E-T-C-H my supplies!

moments that take your breath away

Hey guys! Hope you're having a great weekend! I'm here to share my project for the week. 


This time it's a layout. My boyfriend & I went to the Bahamas at the beginning of the year & found some starfish along the beach. I was in awe. I wanted to keep them alive & bring them home!

The background paper is My Mind's Eye lost & found. The pink cardstock is Die Cuts with a View pink #2. There are also bits of AC Letterbox & My Mind's Eye Lush navy damask & So Sophie never enough. I cut the little starfish charm using the Cricut cartridge Life is a Beach.

'It's Friday...Friday...' Ok, so it's not the greatest song, but I love that it's Friday! And so our DT Kimberly Stokes Jara shares her "I <3 Beech" Layout with us :) '

She loves BEECH and I love this layout! What's awesome is the color combo of the red and blues, and love the 3-D features of the stickers and stitched yarn with dangling metal snowflakes.

Hi Everyone :) This is Jessie from Edogg Sugarlips and Princess Buttercup. It is Wednesday, which means it is my day to share with you.  I made a mini album.  It is a VERY picture heavy post. Each page flips up and then out.   I used the My Mind's Eye Lush in Turquoise, and orange.  Here it is in Turquoise, and here is a link to the orange.
I used turquoise, orange and white cardstock from my stash, and some flowers and bling.  I used K Andrew Designs, stamps and twine.

Tuesday with Tiffany!

Hello there, time for my weekly post! Today I pulled out a vintage photo, me and my family on Easter back in 1980...yikes!

 

Used a fabulous sheet of double sided American Crafts Peachy Keen pattern paper to create my chevrons. Used only 2" of paper, so you'll be seeing this fun polka dot/floral again! The jumbo circle is cut from My Minds Eye Lush paper, and I also misted with some fabulous Mister Huey Color Mists!! There can never be enough inking right? You can find all these new goodies HERE!
