wednesday's with Jessie

Hi Everyone!
It's Jessie from Edogg Sugarlips and Princess Buttercup  I have a cute and easy card for you today. Sometimes you get sucked it and think a plain card doesn't work, but I want to show you cards don't have to have tons of stuff on them to be nice :)

This was a simple card to make. I used American Crafts paper, from the Campy Trails collection and the paper is called Buffalo Lake and it is of course from Crafting Family :)  The aqua and brown paper were just scraps.  I cut the American Crafts paper into rectangles, and used both sides, the yellow is the back and then sewed them together on my sewing machine.
I added the flowers and gems and that was it.  I hope you enjoyed the card, and I will be gone for a few weeks and the talented Jewels will be posting on Wednesday for me.

Attitude is Everything with DT Jessie - Quick little box project

Hi Everyone!

Jessie here from Edogg Sugarlips and Princess Buttercup.

I hope you are having a fabulous 4th of July!  I have a quick project for you today and then you can get back to enjoying your day.

I made a quick little box for you today.  When you take off the band it opens like a pizza box.  It's perfect for a cookie or some candy.

I used Basic Grey paper for the band, tag, and one of the flowers. It is from the Wander Collection, and it is called turbulence.  The flowers are a scalloped circle and I punched it 5 or 6 times and then pushed a brad through it.  I then got it slightly wet and scrunched it up to make the flowers.
I eyeballed the tag.

Have a great rest of your 4th and stay safe.
