Happiness is an inside job Card from DT Jessie

Happy Wednesday Everyone!
It's Jessie from Edogg Sugarlips and Princess Buttercup I am coming to you today with a cute little easel card. I used a sketch to create the card.
The base was some yellow cardstock and then all the mats were yellow and white scraps. The designer paper is Jubilent from the  Studio Calico Heyday Collection.  I used both sides of it in the card.

I cut the base and all the mats and created it, then the ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam, the image is from MelJens and the sentiment is from K Andrew Designs.

Have a fabulous day!

On an Angle- Tuesdays with Tiffany

Hello Crafting Family, DT member Tiffany here with your Tuesday post! Today I have a very simple layout to share with you:

Since I only had one (very adorable) photo of my son for this layout, I decided to place it front and center, but on an angle. I decided to use a fabulous piece of American Crafts pattern paper, which has playful dots on one side, and a solid pale blue on the other. I cut my pattern paper to 6" x  12" and butted it up against the photo, trimming off the excess along the edge of the 12x12 background. I cut this funny shape in half, flipping one piece over to reveal the light blue, and adhered to the layout. Repeated on the other side; trimmed out the top and bottom boarder with ribbon and a scalloped piece of My Minds Eye paper, and my quick and easy layout was complete!

Supplies:
Cardstock- Bazzill
Pattern Paper- American Crafts, My Minds Eye
Ribbon- Offray
Punch- EK Success
Pen- Sharpie
Spray Ink- Mister Huey

You still have a few more days to show us your take on this month's sketch, link up on the sidebar by August 31!!

It's Memo time - easy project by DT Jessie

Hi Everyone,
It's Jessie from Edogg Sugarlips and Princess Buttercup. :) I am bringing you a cute and easy project. It is a memo board.

The board is a metal flashing from Home Depot they are in the roofing department. I used some Studio Calico paper from the Heyday Collection called Jubilent.  I covered the flashing with one side of it and then used the other side to make the mat for the post its.  I added a little yellow cardstock to make it pop. I inked the edges of everything in turquoise. The ribbon is from 3 Girl Jam it is called Harvest Orange.  To make the holes punch them with the crop a dile. It is supposed to be magnetic and other ones I have made are, but for some reason this one doesn't like magnets. But is it okay cause it still turned out adorable. Have a great day.

Pat was inspired to make this altered art frame project using our Fancy Pants "Wishful Thinking" papers thanks to one of our scrapbooking idols "Scrapbooking By Phyllis" (Follow her Blog here) - who I won an altered art frame from on one of her facebook page giveaways! Both my mom and I drool at her creations...and I'm sure you will too!
